Offshore Wind Energy MBA

Delivering new ideas and technologies as successful products to market is at utmost importance for firms in the offshore wind industry. This requires not only creative idea generation, but also management of these creative ideas towards successful innovation and market implementation.

Different tools for managing this process, such as stage-gate model. Focus will be given to internal managerial processes and practices. As companies increasingly collaborate with external partners such as users, customers, universities and competitors throughout their innovation processes, the course also addresses the opportunities, challenges and implications for successful collaboration innovation. .

To be considered as an applicant for the Offshore Wind Energy MBA programme, the candidate is already a professional with relevant work experience. Each application is considered individually and we welcome qualifications from various backgrounds.

The formal criteria is a bachelor or other equivalent degree combined with two years’ work experience. If the applicants do not meet this criteria, they may still be considered if they can demonstrate other capabilities or relevant professional qualifications e.g. more than 5 years’ business experience in the industry.

The Offshore Wind Energy MBA is an English-taught programme and the modules are highly interactive. Candidates must show proficiency in English to successfully participate in the modules and go through extensive pre-reading.

Students will be able to utilize design-driven tools and methods to develop new products, concepts and services. They can describe and apply frameworks used to manage and organize innovation and development process.

The participants have learned to apply innovation processes in their organizations: Identify internal and external capabilities for the different phases of the innovation processes, identify and minimize risks and uncertainties in innovation collaborations.

They can also show innovation capabilities in themselves.
